According to the "Sun" report, Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana was convicted of illegal driving for the ninth time, and he was also dubbed the "worst driver in the Premier League".

Fofana was pictured attending a hearing at Staines Magistrates' Court on Friday and left with a smile on his face. It is reported that he was ordered to complete 300 hours of unpaid community service in court, pay only £85 court costs and £114 surcharges.

The driving recorder video played at the hearing showed that Fofana drove a white SUV to overtake at high speed from the emergency lane, and then merged into the traffic flow.
Fofana was sentenced to an 18-month ban from driving, but his previous driving ban period will last until May 2027. After the driving ban expires, Fofana will need to pass an extended driving license test before he can get back on the road. Before that, Fofana may be jailed if he returns to the road.
