Why is it difficult for cats to train? In fact, it is because your method of training them is incorrect! We all know that cats are not as easy to obey people as dogs. Cats have their own independent consciousness and may not be so obedient, but this is also the cuteness of cats, isn’t it? Let’s learn about the reasons why cats are difficult to train.

Everyone knows that cats are not as rigorous as dogs. Cats are arrogant by nature, smart and focus on reality. In history, cats' ancestors lived a life of a lone man for a long time and knew how to protect themselves. Moreover, cats have strong self-esteem and it is difficult to require them to obey people's will. Usually, cats are willing to be controlled by others only when they think they are beneficial to them. For example, when you are hungry or when you feel cold, it will make demands and obey certain orders. But you have to be clear that many times, the cat lies in the owner's arms out of his voluntary behavior, not obeying you. When it wipes its owner with its head and body, it makes a soft meow, it is just because it is hungry, wants to eat, or some requests that people cannot understand.

Of course, cats are not completely untrainable. Cats are very smart and can learn a lot of movements and behaviors. If the kitten starts training from five to six months old, some results can still be achieved. For example, you can train cats to open the door, stretch their claws, roll, hold objects, and fix them to excrete in a certain place. Kittens are highly dependent and have strong plasticity during this period, so they need to step up training to form habits. Otherwise, after the cat grows to one year old, its personality gradually increases and it is no longer willing to obey human training.
