Although the new crown epidemic has lasted for a year and many residents will choose to quarantine at home to prevent the spread of the virus, over the past year, there have been a group of caring people who have selflessly taken care of the stray cats and dogs outside! Grandma Liu Jiarong, a retired writer living in Alhambra, Southern California, was rescued during 2020. She said saving a stray animal is saving a life.

It is understood that Liu Jiarong occasionally saw a few stray cats on the road more than ten years ago, gathered in front of a resident's door waiting to be fed. Later, because the homeowner moved, the stray cats also faced starvation, so she bought cat food herself or fed it.

Later she discovered that due to the limited capacity of local animal shelter institutions, some stray cats and dogs that cannot be adopted in time would be euthanized. Liu Jiarong immediately decided to do her best to rescue these stray animals. She said: These stray animals are also life, and she must do her best to save them.

It is understood that there were only a few stray animals at the beginning, but now the number of people is growing. They will try to provide food for stray cats and dogs, help animals to contraceptive, and find adoptive families.

In 2020, due to the epidemic, many pet hospitals were closed, but the breeding problem of stray cats and dogs was imminent. Liu Jiarong and other caring people were running around and finally found a charity in Basadina City to ligate stray cats, helping to solve the big problem.

Although Liu Jiarong is in her 70s and has made him pay a lot of money to rescue stray cats and dogs, fortunately, he has received the support of both of them, and his children will also pay to help their mother complete the love assistance.

A Chinese living in Inland Riverside City is also a caring member who rescues stray cats. His family has adopted nearly a hundred stray cats. Recently, she has not been in good health, so she entrusts her daughter to take care of her, but about 80 of these stray cats have not been ligated yet. After hearing the news, Liu Jiarong rushed to Hebin City with her companions and sent the cats to the hospital for ligation in batches, and found some of the cats to adoptive families. She said that the days she went to Hebin City were the hottest between August and September 2020, with the highest temperature reaching triple digits.

Liu Jiarong not only rescues stray animals in the United States, but also rescues stray animals in mainland China through the Internet. Although I can't do it myself, I will always donate to the best of my ability.

In addition, since Liu Jiarong is a writer, she often writes these love stories into a series of articles and publishes them online to encourage more people to join. Looking to the future, Liu Jiarong said that since she chose to save the little life, she will continue to do it.
