According to the BBC, West Ham United coach Porter was interviewed and talked about the topic of the team's two players, Paqueta and Antonio.

Nearly two years after the FA launched an investigation into him, Paqueta was proven not intentionally to take cards to affect the results of the betting. Since the transfer window this summer will not be closed until September 1, West Ham United fans are somewhat worried that Paqueta may be poached by other teams.

Speaking about Paqueta's future, Porter said: "You can never be sure because anything can happen to anyone during the transfer window. (Paqueta proved innocent) The news is very positive, and if the results are contrary, there will be a series of other problems. Paqueta is happy and devoted now, he is a big part of our locker room and in the club, we love him, we just want to help him enjoy football. You can imagine that personally, Paqueta has to face these allegations (the past two years) is a huge challenge for him, and it's a very difficult time in his life and career, and he can survive, thanks to himself, his family and everyone who supports him."

When asked if Antonio, 35, would be on the West Ham roster for the new season, Porter simply replied: "No."

Note: Antonio suffered a serious car accident last December. He returned to the arena for Jamaica in the Golden Cup in Central and North America and the Caribbean this summer. Last month, West Ham United said that no formal decision has been made for Antonio, whose contract with the club is about to expire. The club said in a statement: "As a long-term, highly respected player and a loved one in the West Ham United family, the club's current priority is to support him on a personal level and help him return to the top league arena."
