Romano reported that Portuguese striker Yorke Cres took the initiative to cut his salary by 2 million euros to successfully join Arsenal, and negotiations are still in progress.
It is reported that in order to facilitate transfer negotiations between Arsenal and Portuguese Sports, Yorke agreed to give up his salary of 2 million euros.
However, Portuguese sports president Valandas has not accepted the proposal. Portugal Sports insists on higher transfer fees, while Arsenal offers are lower. Despite this, Yorke still did his best and was willing to sacrifice part of his salary, hoping to make the deal happen.
Previously reported that Portuguese requires a fixed transfer fee of 65 million euros, plus floating terms.
