When dogs vomit yellow thick substances, they mainly consider five aspects of problems. One is the problem caused by the dog's diet itself, the second is the problem of parasites, the third is the vomiting caused by gastrointestinal diseases, the fourth is the problem of secondary vomiting caused by the dog's internal organ problems, and finally poisoning.

1. Dietary problems

Observe the viscous substances vomited by dogs. If they contain food residues that are not completely digested, it is suspected that the dog is vomiting caused by indigestion. There are many specific causes of indigestion. For example, vomiting caused by the dog eating raw and cold foods that have a greater stimulation to the stomach may also be caused by the dog swallowing foreign objects. You should observe the dog's vomit and the dog's mental state.

2. Parasites

Tooster shovelers should pay attention to the frequency of deworming their hairy children. This includes two parts: endoparasitic and ectoparasitic. Most of the things that can cause vomiting are endoparasitics. Observe the dog's vomit, especially defecation, whether there are parasites in the feces, and sometimes bloody stools. These are all manifestations of parasites.

3. Vomiting caused by gastrointestinal diseases

When dogs suffer from acute or chronic gastroenteritis, they will also vomit. The reason why it is yellow and thick means that the gastric mucosa must be damaged, and other symptoms will also occur at this time, such as decadence, decreased appetite, and even loss of appetite in severe cases, diarrhea, and bloody diarrhea.

4. Secondary vomiting caused by visceral problems

Liver and kidney problems. This should attract serious attention from the shoveler. Once the dog vomits severely, accompanied by loss of appetite, poor mental state, abdominal pain, or even no longer has clear consciousness, it should be taken to the pet hospital for detailed examination as soon as possible.

5. Poisoning

The dog will be poisoned after accidentally eating something that it is difficult for it to digest, which will also lead to vomiting, such as green onions, grapes, chocolate, xylitol, etc., and there is poisoning caused by poison. Once this happens, the dog will not only vomit, but also be accompanied by anemia. The owner can make a preliminary judgment based on the color of the dog's gums.
