Macau dog racing, to put it bluntly, is a dog racing event in Macau. It was first jointly organized by Hong Kong and Macao businessmen in 1932. The Yat Yuen Dog Racing Track was operated by Macau Yat Yuan Greyhound Co., Ltd. in September 1963. Now Macau is the only legal region in Asia where dog racing is operated. The dog racing event is held at the Yat Yuan Dog Racing Track. It is one of Macau's attractions for tourists and Macau gambling activities.

Macau’s dog racing is held four days a week at the Yat Yuen Greyhound Racing Ground in the North District of Macau. There are 18 races on each greyhound racing day. The races are divided into short and medium distance races of 350 yards, 510 yards and 550 yards. The competition is held in the evening, and each competition consists of 6-8 greyhounds wearing different colored uniforms. The admission fee for the public seats is MOP 10 (can be used for betting), and the private box price is MOP 80 (Monday to Thursday) or MOP 120 (Friday to Sunday and public holidays), plus a minimum consumption of 30 patacas per person. Gambling participants can place bets at the Greyhound Racing Club or at various off-site betting stations.

The so-called greyhound racing is a group of greyhounds chasing a mechanical bait (electric rabbit) running around an oval track. The bet can be placed on a dog or a group of dogs. Dog racing was introduced to Macau from the United States. The dog track was reopened in 1963. It was reported on June 18, 2018 that Macau Greyhound Racing has a history of more than 80 years, and the operating company Yat Yuen Greyhound Racing Club has announced that it will close its operations.
